New Nigerian striking sensation Henry Onyekuru says he has received offers from a number of European clubs, following his scoring exploits in the Belgian top-flight with AS Eupen.
On Tuesday the 19-year-old netted his 10th goal in all competitions this season to cap Eupen’s 4:0 decimation of Kortrijk in the Belgian Cup.
Reports have linked Aspire Academy graduate with several clubs in Europe, and he confirmed having four offers ahead of the January transfer window, including Turkish giants Fenerbahce, Russian champions CSKA Moscow, and highflying German Bundesliga newcomers RB Leipzig.
He however said he wants to stay with Eupen until the end of the season before considering his options.
I have offers to join Fenerbahce, RB Leipzig, CSKA Moscow and Hoffeinheim in January, but for now I just want to focus on my performance for Eupen and after the season I will move.
It is a good feeling that these clubs want me, it shows I am doing well and working hard.
