Sterling Bank And CAPDAN Clean Computer Village

Peoples Digest Online – On Saturday the 12th of August 2017 Sterling Bank under their STEM (Sterling Environmental Makeovers) in collaborations with CAPDAN (Computer and Allied Products Dealers Association of Nigeria) along with the Ikeja local Government, LAWMA and the Lagos Ministry of Environment.

The event had in attendance the Lagos state Commissioner Dr Babatunde Adejare, Mrs Olumuyiwa Adejokun the Managing Director of Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), Ikeja Local Government Chairman Mr Ahmed Ojikutu (CAPDAN President), other members of CAPDAN, Staffs of Sterling Bank, Media representatives, and members of the Public.

The event kicked off with all groups involved gathering at the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat at 2,Obafemi Awolowo way, Ikeja Lagos state, The participators started arriving by 7am, they all recieved, jackets, hand gloves, brooms, shovels, rakes, and other tools that would ensure the cleaning the cleaning to be done appropriately.  The Participants later left En Masse into Computer Village where the streets drainage and the entire environs of the computer village was thoroughly cleaned and Made over.

The climax of the event was when YBNL’s own Baddoo Olamide joined the Participants, this spiced up the day for all involved, he performed the Sterling Bank STEM Anthem and later went ahead to entertain group with his other song Shakiti Bobo before leaving.

The event ended back at the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat where all Participants handed in their tools for a , meal or snack as there were packs of small chops, Indomie noodles, Malta Guiness and other partners where also on ground to hand out freebies.
