Peoples Digest Online- Lady Gaga cancelled her show in Montreal over the weekend due to sickness and after her devastated fans voiced their dismay at the news, the pop star responded in kind – by treating her ‘little monsters’ to free pizza.
Gaga, 31, had been due to perform in Montreal as part of her world tour, but cancelled after she fell ill, leaving her fans base suitably riled.
However, Gaga had a remedy for the disappointed horde of monsters by promising free pizza and autographs outside her hotel, after her heartbroken fans began questioning why the superstar announced the cancellation just one and a half hours before the gig was due to start.
Announcing her illness, she posted a heartfelt message to her Twitter account, which read:
‘To all my beautiful fans. I couldn’t be more devastated that I am unable to perform tonight.
‘I sing this entire show live and pride myself in giving it my all but when I sang in the rain at Citi Field I got sick and have been pushing through. I am so sorry to anyone who had their heart set on seeing me tonight. I love you. Xoxo, Joanne.’
Gaga announced the pizza party shortly after, telling her fan base that she would be giving out free munchies outside her hotel.
‘I’m sending free [pizza] to any monsters outside my hotel The William Gray Montréal. I love u so much & I’m so sorry u are the most loyal fans,’ she wrote.
